Campus Galli

On Campus Galli, a construction site near Meßkirch in Germany, a medieval monastery complex is being built using authentic historical techniques. Each player chooses a role such as a carpenter, mason or blacksmith.

This ambitious project is based on the St Gallen monastry plan, an architectural layout and organisational chart from the 9th century. 

This historical basis is the foundation for a fascinating game about building a monastery, either cooperatively or in competition against each other!
